Garden rules

For workshops, classes, talks, meals and other gatherings by the hour · Version 1 · Effective October 18, 2026

This is an English translation for reference. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

The Garden is a space to teach, learn and share in peace. These rules take care of the space, your group and our relations with the neighbors in Miraflores. By requesting and paying for your booking you accept them on behalf of all attendees.

1. The organizer is responsible

The person or company that books is responsible for the gathering, its attendees and any damage, missing items or extra cleaning. When booking, they provide their name, ID or tax number (NIT) and a contact phone number, and they must be present or name someone in charge for the whole gathering.

2. Capacity and hours

• A maximum of 25 people at the same time, including the organizers.
• The Garden is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
• The booked time includes setup and cleanup. If the gathering runs longer, the extra hour is charged at the current rate, as long as the schedule allows it.
• During the booked time, the space is exclusively for your gathering.

3. Available spaces

Garden, covered patio, outdoor dining area, kitchen and bathrooms, plus chairs, tables, whiteboard, TV and sound. The bedrooms and locked cabinets are not part of the space and remain closed.

4. Type of activity

Workshops, trainings, classes, talks, circles, meals, photo shoots and work meetings. Parties and loud music are not allowed. Sound for the activity must stay at a moderate volume, because we are in a residential neighborhood. Noise that disturbs neighbors is also regulated by Colombia's National Code of Security and Coexistence (Law 1801 of 2016).

5. Using the kitchen

• The kitchen is available for preparing coffee, snacks or meals. It is self-service: it does not include food service or disposable tableware.
• You receive it clean and leave it clean: dishes washed and put away, stove and counters clean.
• Food brought by the group is the organizer's responsibility.
• If you need prepared food, you can get a quote from Gastrología, our catering partner, depending on availability and group size.

6. Caring for the space

• Nothing may be nailed, stuck or hung on walls, ceilings, doors or plants without prior authorization.
• Large planters and fixed furniture are not moved. Chairs and tables can be rearranged and are put back as they were.
• Candles and incense only in safe containers, on stable surfaces and never unattended.
• The garden plants are there to be enjoyed, not cut.

7. Smoke-free and substance-free

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere in the house, including the garden. The use of illegal substances and bringing weapons are not allowed either.

8. Pets and minors

• Pets may only come with prior authorization.
• Minors may attend, always under the care of a responsible adult. Our Child protection policy applies.

9. When you finish

• Trash is left in closed bags in the designated place.
• Chairs, tables and equipment go back to their place, and lights, TV and sound are turned off.
• The space is handed over clean and must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. If it is left unusually dirty, an extra cleaning fee is charged.

10. Damage

If something is damaged or lost, let us know right away. The cost of repair or replacement is charged to the organizer and is paid within 5 business days after the gathering.

11. Payment

• Your time slot is secured with 100% payment. Until it is paid, someone else may book the date.
• Payment methods: Bre-B, bank transfer or card payment link. Payment details are only sent from our WhatsApp +57 333 220 9508 or from herradurahouse.co@gmail.com.
• Catering by Gastrología is quoted, paid and invoiced separately.

12. Cancellation and changes

• If you cancel 7 days or more in advance, we refund 100%.
• With less than 7 days there is no refund, but you can change the date once, subject to availability, within the following 3 months.
• Right of withdrawal: if you booked more than 5 days in advance, you may withdraw within 5 business days after payment and we refund 100%, under article 47 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011.
• If, for a reason beyond your control, we cannot provide the space, we refund 100% or reschedule, whichever you prefer.

13. Cameras and data

The main entrance and the back patio have security cameras. There are no cameras inside the house. The organizer's data is handled under our Privacy policy.
